Christ-follower, keeper at home and 'cheerleader' for my husband of 35 years. Our 4 'grown' kids are now 'in-and-out' and we enjoy the far-too-few moments we have to share. Being outdoors walking (preferably on a beach!), biking, gardening or taking photos is my 'happy place'. I've been privileged to be teaching 'something' to 'someone' since my teenage years, currently teen drivers...but mostly I desire to be a worshipper of my 'Abba Father God', as one who is still learning to find my greatest joy in 'sitting at His feet'.

Every spring brings a fresh excitement to begin working again in my backyard gardens. It is WORK, but brings so much JOY to my heart ... and God meets me there in a special way. That's really what keeps me going - so many illustrations of daily life and faith can be found there...in my own backyard! So for me, being a 'Kingdom Builder' - being 'for God' as a worshipper, 'for people' as an encourager and teacher, and 'against evil' bringing DEFEAT to the enemy - begins right here ... in my own backyard. As I share a little of what God teaches me as I 'tarry there', I hope it encourages you in your walk with Him and as a Kingdom Builder ... in YOUR own 'backyard' :)
