I prize authenticity in all forms, and like to think mine comes through in roles like the no-nonsense waitress closing for the night inAdvance Payment (Winner of the Best Short Film Award at the 2011 Daytona Beach Film Festival), the fragile mother of a murder victim on America's Most Wanted, and the credible voice for the Chevy Malibu & Isaac Mizrahi sales campaign.

In high school, I was awarded a certificate for "Perseverance," so when I believe in something strongly, you might mistake me for a pit-bull on your pant-leg. I recently took part in LAPD Central Division's Citizen's Academy, an 11-week program that allowed me to see all facets of police work and deeply informed the advocacy work I do for the homeless in my downtown neighborhood.

While I may have missed my shot to play a sexy Jersey matriarch on The Sopranos, I'm on the lookout for my next role as a capable, compassionate broad, one who easily cracks wise and is never afraid to cry.
