Dawnette Brenner

Dawnette Brenner has a Master's degree in Online Teacher Learning and is both an experienced traditional educator as well as online. She's used innovative technology since 2006, prior to eLearning in public education was popular. She's built an online learning platform, educating several teachers in the art of integration of technology.

Currently she's a Computer/Technology teacher, using the most relevant and engaging tools to teach common core standards to 6-8th graders. Trained to teach teachers, she's led professional development, trained teachers and supported them using 21st century tools, supporting students learning of the common core standards in all subject areas.

Computational Thinking is the new buzzword for computer science curriculum and she's trained to utilize this in her curriculum, teaching coding via Scratch, Python and many other web-based programs.

Currently Ms. Brenner is seeking means to build a Makerspace and has built up her collection, making it quite mobile.
