Dawn Nelson, Author

A lifelong resident of Minnesota and an Author of two published books. I'm also on staff at Aquill Reille Magazine on Facebook. Which is a poetry and writing site for authors. I have several published poems and have just finished my memoirs "Line of Descent" available online or at PublishAmerica.com. I will soon have my book turned into a kindle so it will be available in that version as well.

My book is about living my life with a heritary blood disorder (Anti-thrombin III disorder) a blood clotting disorder. I try to describe the strength that one gains through adversity. Although I have had many surgeries and many bouts with life threatening blood clots, I have always come through by keeping a positive attitude and learning to deal with pain instead of using drugs.

I now live with my husband and adopted Granddaughter, along with Nellie our loving but misunderstood "American Pitbull' and Chloe a "Bisson Frise and Shitzu" mix. We also have two 14 year old cats Cheeto and Stinky. We have a total of five children between us and many grandchildren. My life is an ever changing continuation of one thing after another. Never a dull moment! I will attempt to capture my days here and share them with others beginning Monday, July 11, 2011. See you then!
