My name is Kati Day and I have just started my senior year at Towson University. I am studying Mass Communication with a track in Journalism and New Media. I like to stay busy so I participate in a couple of extracurricular activities. I play golf for Towson and I'm a representative for the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. I have also been writing for the Towerlight for a few years now. Ordinarily I cover sporting events like men's golf and track and field, but I've also asked to write for the Arts and Life section of the paper as well.

Over the summer I lived in London and interned at a magazine called Epicurean Life. It was an incredible summer, and I gained a lot of work experience. As an editorial assistant I was able to be a part of every part of the magazine. I interviewed people, wrote feature stories, reviewed restaurants and even helped with layout. I gained a lot of valuable workplace experience that I hope to transfer to future jobs.
