I didn’t start here. I was an engineer with Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company, with a structured career, clear path, and predictable future. Then I chose a different race.

Today, I’m a Nigerian marathon runner on a mission to run a marathon in every country in the world. I’ve run marathons in 104 countries so far, but not on equal terms. I’ve faced visa rejections, long delays, and closed doors—not because I lack discipline or resources, but because of the passport I carry.

So I run anyway.

Through FogAdventures and the Heritage Marathon races I create, I’m not just exploring the world—I’m confronting a system that decides who gets to move freely and who must keep asking for permission. Every finish line is more than a medal. It is proof that persistence can outpace restriction.
