I am a plastic & reconstructive surgeon-scientist in-training at UC Irvine, and a consultant and entrepreneur in Southern California.

My clinical interests include general plastic surgery, breast reconstruction, aesthetics, facial reconstruction and rejuvenation, wound healing, and fat grafting. I’m particularly committed to helping eliminate healthcare disparities as they relate to reconstructive options for ethnic minorities and those of low socioeconomic status.

From a translational research stanpoint, my expertise and interests include tissue engineering, medical device development, adipose-derived stem cells, stromal vascular fraction and their secretome, adipose extracellular matrix, the aesthetic ideal, koinophilia, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
