Devin Bertelsen

I am currently a student at the University of Nebraska Omaha that has embraced my college experience with eyes wide open and no regrets. I traveled only across the Missouri River from Iowa and although the transition of moving from small town to the Omaha bustle would seem like a huge challenge, I faced it with only excitment.

During these past three years in college I have developed a passion for learning, experienced several life lessons, and consumed countless cups of coffee.

I have gained a tremendous amount of passion and knowledge throughout college but I feel as though the involvement opportunities that I thrived in shaped me to be a better student, worker and leader. I have been involved in and taken leadership positions in Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, Student Government, Phi Beta Lambda – Future Business Leaders of America, Public Relations Student Society of America, Matador Campus Tour Guides, Maverick Village Hall Council, Maverick Productions and New Student Orientation Leaders.

Although some may think that there isn't much more to life after college; I think that this is just the start of a thrilling adventure and more exciting challenges.
