Denis Boudreau

Principal Web Accessibility Consultant and Strategist in Montreal, Québec, Canada

I am a Montreal-based principal accessibility consultant, trainer and public speaker, working for Deque Systems. I design strategies for digital inclusion and coach / mentor aspiring unicorns to successfully implement accessibility in their processes.

I am the 2018 Vice-President of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (Montreal Chapter), and a member of the Global Speakers Federation. I am also a member of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in the Education and Outreach (EO) & Accessibility Guidelines (AG) working groups, as well as a member of the Knowbility Experts network.

Having advocated social inclusion on the Web for over 17 years, I have been running the annual a11yMTL conference in Montreal, Canada since 2010.

An admitted nerd with an unhealthy fixation on UX and digital inclusion, I have a passion for design that emotionally resonates, is beautifully engaging, and delightfully accessible. I focus on web accessibility and user experience design for people with disabilities and ageing populations, and regularly share findings and thoughts on Twitter at @dboudreau.
