ATO DC Contactor are indispensable devices in the control of a circuit and come with added safety features. When the coil is energized, an electromagnet is created. After the coil is energized, the electromagnetic field pulls the plunger into the coil and forces the contacts to close, thereby completing the load circuit. When the contact is closed, current is allowed to flow into the connected device. When the power to the coil is interrupted, the electromagnet loses electricity, the magnetic field dissipates, the contacts bounce, and the circuit is reopened, increasing the power flowing to the load. ATO DC Contactors 12V (single pole 200A) can easily be installed in any orientation on a panel in a matter of seconds.
