Energy, Environment, and Science in Vienna

Hello, my name is Daniel and I'm from Vienna.

During my bachelor and masters studies in chemical and process engineering at TU Wien, I specialised in energy and environment relatively early on. Due to my interest in making the world of tomorrow more sustainable, I also started working as a junior researcher at the Energy Institute at the JKU Linz. My research focussed on renewable gases as well as sustainable industry and mobility. These areas were also the main topics of my dissertation, which I completed in 2020.

After my time as Senior Expert in Linz, Post-Doc at the Institute of Chemical, Environmental and Bioscience Engineering and as Guest Core Scientist at the TU Munich, I am currently working as a Post-Doc in the research area of waste and resource management at the Institute of Water Quality and Resource Management at the TU Vienna.

When I'm not busy with my research, I enjoy playing volleyball, running and photography.
