Da'Shaun Charmin

Da' Shaun Charmin is a college student with a passion for writing. As a young and emerging author, Da’ Shaun just wrote “With Me In Hell’s Paradise,” the second installment of a four-part book series. Da’ Shaun Charmin is currently working on the third installment of her book series.She is also focused on a book of poetry that will showcase not only her talent, but also her love for writing as an art. As an active advocate of the LGBTQPIA+ community, Da’ Shaun says she is still trying to figure out who she is. After all, everyone searches for him or herself. Also working on a book of poetry, Da’ Shaun Charmin’s lifelong love of writing compelled her to begin writing the series in childhood.
Da Shaun’ loves to sing. “Singing keeps my heart beating, and writing keeps me breathing,” she says. Da’ Shaun is very active in the community and attends gay pride events in her city each year. Her first novel, “Run Away With Me,” is currently available on itunes and amazon.com. “With Me In Hell’s Paradise” is also on amazon.com. Her book series, which chronicles the story of lesbian teens running away from home, is a harrowing tale of the lessons people learn in life, often the hard way. An active gay rights advocate, Da’ Shaun offers relationship advice to the LGBT community.
Da’ Shaun is also an active speaker on the topics of parenting gay teens, as well as depression and suicide prevention. Da’ Shaun is from Houston, Texas.
