About Me

Jeff and I have been married for six years. We have had many adventures - Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Thailand, and Tanzania, Africa where we climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Our most recent adventure is to have children. This has been a journey of trusting God through challenging times and not letting go of hope.

Our first son, Caleb was born prematurely at just 19 weeks gestation. He was too little to survive.

In my second pregnancy, I was put on bed rest at 21 weeks after an emergency cerclage. I started this blog to share my thoughts and what God was teaching me through bed rest. I prayed for a healthy, full-term baby, according to Mark 11:24, “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you have received it, and it will be yours.” God answered our prayers and our second son Jack was born 5 days after he was due. Truly a miracle!

I am trying to continue to write about the everyday happenings of our family and how our faith in Jesus gives us purpose.

I hope as you read my stories that your faith will be strengthened and you will understand that no matter what is happening in our lives, God is good, faithful, and worthy of our trust.
