Dieneba Cisse

I was born in Francfort - Frankfurt am Main in Germany. Born as a child of Malineese, Guinean and German ancestry. After school I decided to study philosophy and my minor changed from media to theater. Originally I intendes to study movie making in Potsadam, but thy didn´t want to accept people under age of 23 or something. Because of interest in philosophy I went to Hildesheim in Northern Germany to study that subject. But because I wanted to learn how to be a director and I soon got to find out that it was more about jounralism, I turned to theater where on had the chance to delve a little bit into that directing. For one semester I moved to Campinas in Brazil where I studied my former subjects plus I got some insight into different dancing styles like Indian dance, contemporary dance and general corporal expression- esspressao corporal. I also visited Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. And Rio de Janeiro was really amazing!

Right now I live in Berlin again and I am just about to look for the right dancing school for me, where I can practice different styles of let´s say body movement ballett and yoga at first- than other styles like contemporary, e.t.c

For I wanna go back to Brazil in June- to Rio de Janeiro to finish my philosophy studies and for starting studying free arts, I am just hoping to be accepted as a trainee in a Brazilian institute where one German guy together with a Brazilian guy try to create a transnational exchange of these cultures and try to promote Brazilian culture in Germany- especially Afrobrazilain culture like those Gods from africa and the ceromonies in which they play a great role- or the greatest. It´s called Candomblé or there is a different cult of it, quite similar called Umbanda. These are syncratist religions influced by catholoicism. In fact these Afrobrazilian belief of the Noth of Brazil was the reason why Brazil at first catched my intention when I was 16. Because it really had a very facinating effect on me. Like really exotic.

I am very interested in the arts, for that reason I one played one of the main roles at school. It was a German classic play of Friedrich Schiller. I am into performaning arts as I am into arts behind the limelight. I also recieved lessons in classical singing and sang in the Hildesheimer Gospelchor- Gospelchior of Hildesheim....and on and on.................
