I graduated from the University of Missouri's elite journalism program with one goal in mind: to help anyone motivated to find their success.

Following a successful career as both a television and radio account executive, I launched a managerial career in 1985 as General Sales Manager of KCFX radio. Next, I headed national sales for the radio group, and initiated a national sales consultancy.

A few years later, I was honored with the KC Media Professionals’ “Media Pioneer Award."

An advocate for sales and marketing in journalism, I quickly said “yes” when asked to “fill in” for a management class at the University of Kansas in 1988. Twenty years later, I'm still there as an adjunct professor, teaching Message Development and Sales Strategies helps to develop the media and sales professionals of the future.

In 1989, I co-founded Competitive Resources, which I still manage today as we serves as a resource for personal or team sales training, management and motivational support and a customized approach to leading your chosen industry. My approach delivers proven results.

A time management consultant, I continue to live by my own advice “ focus on your passion.” My passion for helping others has translated into holding positions on several boards, including Catholic Charities and March of Dimes, serving as past president of both the KC/Saint Joseph Diocesan School Board and the KC Media Professionals.
