I am an applied social scientist with a keen interest in social justice, intersectionality, and global health. My research experience covers a broad set of interests: I have participated on HIV/AIDS research with different communities in Puerto Rico and Central America. My most recent research focused on the application of evidence-based medicine in prenatal care as it was informed by health care policy and international research in a Latina and migrant community.
