D. Barnes checking in from the beautiful city of Decatur, Georgia. I am a senior at the University of Georgia majoring in Social Work. I pride myself for the things I have accomplished and the things that I will soon reach, because it was not an easy road. I strive for greatness today so I will grow within myself and be able to give someone the confidence and push I once needed. My only hope is to leave this world leaving behind a legacy and making a difference in the lives of those I encounter. Whether that difference is made through my jokes, my advice, my kind heart, or courageous spirit I want to be remembered for doing great things. This picture mirrors that destiny I wish to reach. Well really its a picture from my modeling portfolio sophomore year. I use modeling as my scapegoat away from classes, test, hassle of college life. I thoroughly enjoy photography and runway modeling as it is my hobby and lifelong dream as a child. As a child I thought like a child, and spoke as a child should, but I had dreams far beyond my youth. I thank my family and am grateful for my life experiences everyday as they have molded me into the woman I am today and still striving to be!
