David Derr

David Derr is owner and founder of D2 Studios Inc. a Morris County NJ based graphic design and communications company.

He has won awards for his work in both graphics and fine arts from The NY Art Director's Club, NJ Art Director's Club, Adobe Digital Imaging Competition, Int'l Digital Mural Competition and has been published in Photoshop User, Digital Fine Arts Magazine, Gallery & Studios Magazine and most recently DIY Magazine.

David also is on the advisory board for an up and coming theater company based out of Manhattan. Diverse City Theater has been called by the NY Times "one of the top theater companies to watch" and had recently been nominated for a prestigious award from Actors Equity. His most recent project with DCT was as Advertising Director for a benefit concert for PhilDev at Alice Tully Hall which featured top Broadway performers and Tony Award Winners including "Disney Legend" Lea Salonga of Miss Siagon and Les Miserable fame.

Derr's continues to create and exhibit fine art which has been included in exhibitions juried by Ivan Karp of the OK Harris Gallery, Holly Solomon, of the Holly Solomon Gallery, both from New York, NY, as well as exhibitions curated by representatives from the Guggenheim and NJ State Museums. He has exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. His fine art appear in corporate, government and private collections throughout the world.
