D. Chris Draughn

Chris is an aspiring wildlife photographer who currently attends Towson University in Maryland.
He is a 23-year veteran of the United States Air Force and worked another five years for General Dynamics as an intelligence analyst before deciding to retire from the workforce to pursue his passion of photography full-time.
After completing his degree in Mass Communications in December 2015, he has plans to travel to Japan, China and Malaysia to photograph wildlife and write about his experiences.
He is a self-taught naturalist and enjoys acquiring knowledge of the natural world through first hand observation.
