I enjoy going to the gym lifting weights, free weights, bench-pressing, sometimes I also do circuits, this helps me keep fit and increase my strength.

In the past I have attended a Princes Trust course at Fairbridge, during the course I took part in residential activities that included canoeing, kayaking and high peak challenges. I enjoyed the activities as they were not only fun and challenging but also helped me learn new skills.

At the Princes Trust course I also participated in group work that involved raising my awareness, consequential thinking and actions.

I’m interested in pursuing a career in warehouse work, such as operating machinery, working on a production line, order picking, heavy lifting and stocktaking. I attended a Nacro course which encouraged me to apply for different jobs and create a cv. I think the best way to pursue my chosen profession would be via an apprenticeship scheme, I have already attended an interview for such a scheme and I feel I learnt from that experience.

I recently attended a construction youth trust course where I learnt how to use blow torches, fit copper pipes and elements of joinery. During the course I also learned some tiling skills.

I enjoy socialising with my friends who I grew up with, we are a closed-knit group and often celebrate birthdays by going out for meals. I often discuss my career plans with my friends and value their opinion.
