Dean Read is the webmaster of PeakRoutes.com and is passionate about sharing his outdoor adventures using new media. He was bitten by the outdoor bug at a very young age while holidaying with family in the Lake District, he has since gone on to walk in many areas of the British Isles and blog about his experiences on his personal site DeanRead.net. Growing up in the Derbyshire countryside with the Peak District on his doorstep has meant he has a great fondness for the UK's first national park.
