Dean Vollebregt

Dear reader,

My name is Dean Vollebregt, my goal in life is to become a outstanding businessman helping out many deserving and disadvantaged people along the way. To achieve this I am currently studying Accounting to build business accumen and Mathematical Science to position myself to help solve ever increasing resource-allocation problems, and also understand the mathematics of high technology, the driving force of the digital age we have now well and truly entered.

Prior to being a full time student I have worked closely with my older brother Glen as a real estate developer and have assisted with 5 residentual land sub-division and house building developments located around the inner north-east subburbs of Adelaide. To compliment our property development business, we have also created a student-accomodation business (Student Rooms).

During 2010 I assisted the executive comittee organise the annual Brightest Young Minds summit. It is a prestigious week long summit held at the University of Sydney that enabales 100 chosen delegates to meet and discuss social initiatives. As the name suggests, the delegates were very bright and including some of Australia's best young business leaders, acamdemics and social entrepreneurs. Guest speakers included but were not limited to: Hugh Evans former Australian of the year, the Minister for Tourism, and the CEO of Google Australia. Major sponsors included the University of Sydney, Toursim Australia , Commonwealth Bank and Google. We were awarded the Chartered Accountants 'Initiate the Future' award for our efforts.

I strongly believe that happiness cannot be found in your mobility, command over economic resources or ability to influence, it can only be obtained through helping other people. You must give before you are to recieve. Hard work, persistance, a stubborness not give up, and a narrow minded focous are the only way to achieve great goals.

Thankyou for finding my page.
