Dean Britton

Real estate executive Dean Britton has spent years developing his skills in finance and underwriting. Dean Britton worked with debt and equity origination at Mutual of New York (MONY), and later took on asset management tasks within the company. Dean Britton subsequently took positions as chief operating officer within Deutsche Bank’s conduit lending platform,
and chief financial officer for Broadway Real Estate Partners before becoming managing principal at AIA.

With his colleagues at AIA, Mr. Britton has successfully initiated more than $1 billion in investments. The company operates under a philosophy of bifurcation, directing and advising buyers to separate ownership of land and structures between institutional ownership and operational ownership. The practice increases the overall value of the investment.

Mr. Britton regularly connects with investors, sponsors, and developers in order to provide advice and direction on the topic of real estate finance. A firm believer in “facial technology”, Mr. Britton travels when he can to see clients and their real estate projects in person.
