Welcome to my real estate blog for Launceston where I will share with you what I love about this city and also provide you with market updates along the way! I will also give you an insight into my life as a real estate agent and also my family which consists of my wife Rachel and our little boy Austin!

I started my career in real estate at Towns Shearing Real Estate when I was 19 helping my dad with the admin work and also working for the company loading properties onto the websites and also doing the window cards for the front office. 10 years later and I run my own real estate office together with my dad Peter, so we stuck together throughout the last 10 years and still love working together as a team!

I live in Legana and went to Riverside High School and later Launceston College.

I recieved a diploma in travel agency in 2001 but decided that real estate was much better suited to me.

We have travelled extemsively over the last 8 years. Since I married Rachel in 2005 we have been to over 20 different countries and in 2007/2008 we travelled for 3 and a half months throughout. We have visited Thailand 4 times with our favourite place being Koh Samui! For my 30th birthday Rachel bought tickets to Italy, so in March 2013 we travelled extensively throughout Italy visiting Milan, Lake Garda, Venice, Florence, Verona, Ferrara and Rome - all with our 2 year old boy!

Our first year of running our own business has been a massive journey and one that I am proud of. We won the Small Agency of The Year for Tasmania in our very first year (2012) — something I never even gave a second thought when we were focusing on getting our business off the ground and in 2013 we won the award again! In 2013 we also employed our first agent in Katrina Coleman and she is going great guns. We also employed our receptionist, Daisy Richardson who used to work with us previously at Towns Shearing.

We use only the best people we can in order to bring our sellers properties to the market. Our photos, videos, floor plans and signboards are all done by professionals.
