Since 2004, I have been covering local news in the city of Pasadena CA for a number of news organizations including, The Pasadena Independent, Sierra Madre Weekly, The Monrovia Weekly and, currently (as the city editor), The Mountain Views News. I also run a Citizen Journalism Workshop for the local Pasadena Community Access Cable Station. As part of this workshop we run an online local social network known as the Pasadenan where community member can build profiles around news and events they cover in Pasadena.
