Dean Lee McKinney attended the University of Oregon and received his bachelor's srts degree in economics in 1994. Prior to attending college he volunteered as a firefighter for 2 years at a rural fire department. Over the following years Dean Lee McKinney began working in property management, real estate, and the hospitality industry. First as an assistant manager for a hotel and then as a general manager.
Over the course of two decades, Mr. McKinney gained expertise in accounting, management, and leadership, driving revenue increases in the businesses he managed. In his latest position as owner and manager of a hotel and restaurant in Gold Beach, he supervised HR-related functions, managed the financial activities of the business, resolved issues related to hotel services and policies, and oversaw activities to ensure employee productivity. Furthermore, he led the marketing strategy to promote the hotel, managing relationships with various stakeholders in the company.
When he is not working as a property manager Mr. McKinney enjoys staying active by engaging in sports such as tennis, cycling, and swimming. He is also an avid golfer
