Deanna Bushart

Currently, I am a graduate student at Suffolk University, studying Integrated Marketing Communications. I graduated from Marist College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with a concentration in creative advertising and management and a fashion merchandising minor. I am working as a graduate assistant and as an event planner.

In my free time I enjoy watching hockey, playing soccer, traveling and fashion. I have traveled to London, Paris, Austria, Germany, Paris and Prague in an Intercultural Communication mini summer abroad session while attending Marist College.

Furthermore, I enjoy creating in the Adobe Design Suite and I try to do something creative everyday. Art is a passion of mine, and in my past, I have made scrapbooks, pottery, jewelry, stain glassed pieces, sculptures, paper and designed bags.

Professionally, I am interested in social media, public relations, event planning, branding, marketing communications, entrepreneurship and leadership. In the future, I hope to own my own upscale boutique in the New York, Boston, or LA area. I also enjoy volunteering with the Junior League of Boston where I will serve as the social media manager for the 2011-2012 year. I love working with Suffolk University Graduate Student Association, as the Director of Marketing and Communications.
