Deanna Peden
Deanna Peden is a voice teacher who gives her students the feedback they need to be the best they can be. A "no nonsense" approach gives her students the kind of information they need to succeed in a very competitive business (even when they are singing for the shear joy of it). She is direct, but kind in her approach to the art of singing and performing. Whether you are preparing for an audition; getting ready to make an important appearance; preparing for a new role; or simply singing for the love of it, Ms. Peden will give you 100% of her knowledge and make certain you are working towards a common goal...to do whatever you're doing to the best of your abilities. She loves to teach and is passionate about what she does. Deanna went to school at The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and lived in New York City where she performed and taught from 1993-2000. While in New York, Deanna made her debut at Lincoln Center in 1996. After leaving New York in 2000, she started a vocal studio in Miami, Florida where she taught voice, musical theater and classical music at the New World School or Performing Arts as well as at The Harid Conservatory of Music at Lynn University in Boca Raton. In 2002, Deanna opened a vocal studio in Southern California and taught voice at the Orange County High School of the Arts in Orange County under the artistic direction of Susan Egan (original Belle in Beauty and the Beast). Ms. Peden lived in Houston, Texas from 2003 to 2010 where she was the producer and director of DLP Productions Houston on Broadway. She currently resides in The Villages, FL (central FL).
