What engages me is the pursuit of creativity, in all fields of study; while I am a practicing artist, an educator, and writer, I am convinced that creativity is also a necessary component of mathematics, science, engineering, and the social sciences. I am a curious child at heart and, as a result, am dedicated to childhood creativity and education.
I received my MFA from Boston University, taught at BU, at MIAD, and currently at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. National exhibition experiences range from Chicago, Boston, Dallas, New Haven, Manhattan, Pennsylvania, to Washington D.C.; locally at the Milwaukee Art Museum, Haggerty Museum, Kohler Arts Center, Schauer Arts Center, Ripon College, Sharon Lynn Wilson Center, Frank Juarez Gallery, and other venues.
