Law Student and Law Enforcement in Orlando, Florida
Dean Zipes is a law student working on continuing his career in law enforcement by becoming a lawyer. Law enforcement has always been in Dean's future; from the time he was a child he was inspired and awed by the policemen, he saw working in his community. He served as a police officer for a number of years before becoming a Detective. He's now interested in working in law in a different capacity which is driving his journey to become a lawyer.
Dean Zipes feels that he can best help people due to his experience in law enforcement. He has gained valuable insight and has become a more well-rounded lawyer. He spent his first year of law school in San Francisco, winning several academic awards, including Dean’s List and being in the top 15% of his class. Dean has since transferred and is finishing his degree at the University of Florida, Levin School of Law.
When Dean Zipes is not in class, he is volunteering in his community to help raise awareness about gun safety. He volunteers for the National Alliance on Mental Illness and assists those who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He has also helped local gun safety organizations and teaches gun safety to children to prevent death and injury.
