Stephanie Santore
Hey there.
I’m Stephanie.. also known as dear_introvert.
creative soul. communications professional. writer. photog. nature lover. cat lady. bookworm. rebel against conformity.
I value: humility. truth. compassion. courage. wisdom. love.
I care deeply about these causes: hunger and homelessness, animal welfare, waste reduction (reduce-reuse-recycle), equality, advocacy and prevention of domestic and sexual violence, and the environment.
I love to read. I buy books like some women buy shoes. Good books have always kept me alive. An old book smell, a new character to love, a memoir that transports me out of my life and into another’s. Words have power – whether they are our own or someone else’s. Words move my soul.
Ernest Hemingway once said, “Write hard and clear about what hurts.” And I do. I write as much as I read. Whether it’s my journal, my blog, my memoir that I NEED to finish so that it could get out there for the world, or even writing professionally for work. I love it all.
Photography is another love and passion. I enjoy being in front of the lens – - modeling is so fun – - but I adore being behind the lens more. Visit this page on my site: “Aesthetic Anarchy” to see what I’ve been capturing. I strive to become a better photographer with each image, capturing the world from my angle – through my lens.
I try to see the beauty in everything – in differences, in flaws, the weird, the awkward, the quirky, and the unusual.
I refuse to conform. Being yourself, and loving who you are, no matter how different, is the ultimate freedom.
I strive for a kind heart, a fierce mind, and a brave spirit.
