My name is Deardre Thompson. I am a part time student at Marist College pursuing a Masters of Arts in Integrating Marketing Communications. I have a Bachelors in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Marketing from Johnson & Wales University and I plan to use the knowledge I've gained at Marist to start a career in social media marketing upon graduating this year.
When I am not working on my studies I keep busy with a variety of hobbies. I run a monthly book club and enjoy the opportunity to get people together to discuss their opinions and interpretations of a variety of topics that pertain to the books we read. I am also an avid runner; I plan to run the 2016 NYC Marathon and spend my free working on achieving that goal. I also enjoy baking, watching movies, and keeping up with the latest in the marketing/communications industry.
