Laura Li

After Laura graduated from college in China, she got a wonderful job in DHL logistics, where she learnt a lot of logistical knowledge. And she really enjoyed the times there as she loved paperwork and computers.

Four years later she moved from China to Canada and started a new life. First, she started improving her English by enrolling in an ESL class, as she hoped her English could one day be as fluent as her Cantonese and Mandarin.

After she got an opportunity to become a volunteer in a tradeshow company. She felt lucky to make several good friends there, which made her feel much happier. Later she thought she should start to learn some new skills to enhance her life, so she chose to start in the baking and pastry arts program at VCC.

She is enthusiastic about it and she really looks forward to becoming a skillful pastry chef someday.
