I have always been an advocate of proper violin set up. Whether it be a technical/physical set up or instrumental set up. As a violinist myself, I experimented a lot, looking for different gadgets and gears just to be able to find the perfect fit. It took me years of experimentation just because there are no shops that offer varied kind of gadgets. It might come to people as a very technical concern but I am actually coming in a perspective of being able to share the joy in executing difficult violin techniques. And I think without the proper set up, this is very difficult to achieve.

As a violinist, I was a member of the 2019 Asian Youth Orchestra that toured around Asia and I am also a recipient of the 2nd prize at the NAMCYA senior strings category that year.

As an instrumentalist, I am still growing, learning and still experimenting. But I am enjoying this process for I am not having any pain during practice nor disappointment that I cannot play chords in tune. I am not talented and I thank the people around me who influenced me into trying different things so I want to share this kind of option to people who are having technical difficulty in playing. I believe that even if some may be more musically talented than others, all of us are blessed with equal number of fingers, two arms and therefore we should be able to play up to a certain point of difficulty.
