Rich Deas is an accomplished illustrator, designer and art director. He has recently llustrated his second children's picture book, Cock A Doodle Dance, following the success of Ten Fat Turkeys. He works fulltime in Manhattan as Senior Creative Director for Macmillan Publishing. In his day-today role he is responsible for overseeing the design and art of many picture books for children. The larger focus of his job is on the design, art direction and creation of many of the Young Adult book covers published by Macmillan. He has designed and art-directed hundreds of book covers and continues to do what he enjoys most - creating!

Rich resides in Glen Ridge, NJ with his wife Rita and 2 young sons Ryan and Oliver .
