Deborah Vails

I am former military; I served as an Administrative Specialist in the United States Army.

During my military career, I served as an Administrative Specialist preparing and distributing orders for military personnel. I also assisted with mail distribution for my unit. After my military career I worked for the Department of the Army as a Personnel Assistant for four years and Staffing Assistant two years and Secretary for two years. I took a leave of absence to take care of my husband after he became ill.

After the death of my husband, I decided to go back to school. I began my education at Cameron University in 2006. I obtained an Associate and Bachelor degree in Multi Media Design in 2008 and 2012. I went on to attend Grand Canyon University and obtained a Master of Arts in Christian Studies with an Emphasis in Leadership. I am a student at Full Sail University and very soon, I will obtain a Masters of Arts in New Media Journalism. It has been an exciting time for me and I look forward to what lies ahead for me in Ministry and Journalism.

I have been in full-time ministry 32 years. I currently serve as Apostle of Set Free Outreach Ministries. The vision and mission of the ministry is to train, equip, and send forth Apostolic Ministry teams to go forth and minister in areas of deliverance, prophecy, prayer, and intercession. I am a published author, my newest release; “The Clashing of the Swords” will soon be available on Amazon.

In my spare time, I like to travel, read, and quilt. I love making quilts for family and friends. It is a way to show how much I love those who are dear to me. I also love spending time with my grandchildren. One of the things that has inspired me the most to serve in ministry was the death of my husband. It became apparent to me that life is short and it is important to work while it is day, when night comes; we are not able to work. Even though night came to my husband early in his life, it put a passion in me to do all that God has called me to do for the up building of the Kingdom of God. Set Free Outreach Ministries was a vision that my husband shared and I am honored that God chose me to carry this work on.
