Debbie Fucoloro, Ph.D.

Debbie Fucoloro has an extensive educational background having worked in the industry for 24 years--as a classroom teacher, instructional technology specialist, and department coordinator. An Apple Teacher and Google Certified Educator, today, she works as the Technology Coordinator/Instructional Technology Specialist at a PreK-8 school. An METC Midwest Spotlight Educator 2017, Debbie helped design the SMMA Innovation Lab, which she says is the intersection of her education, experience, and passion. Her expertise and research interests include #makerED, the authentic, innovative, and engaging integration of technology and design thinking into the curriculum. Debbie is active in social media and enthusiastic about learning with and from her peers through Twitter, blogs, edcamps, and many other collaborative spaces. She is a moderator of #moedchat and on the organizing team of #EdcampSTL, #EdcampArchSTL and co-founder of #EdcampMagic.
