With over 25 years experience as Managing Director of my own companies in various fields, including marketing, training and building industries, I am known as a serial entrepreneur and an innovation engineer. Adept at identifying problems and engineering potential solutions via a holistic approach, I have personally written UK and international patents for a second generation CAPTCHA invention. I was selected as the First Prince of Wales Innovation Scholar in 2009 and my PhD thesis, due to be completed in 2016, is entitled Human Visual Perception in Cyber Security. I am an Advisory Board member for the KTN Defence and Security and HPC Wales, formerly an Advisory Board member for the Wikimedia Foundation, BSI Chair and ISO Convenor, and Editor of two International Standards, a named contributor to several IETF RFCs.
