About Me :

I'm a British expat living in Dubai. I'm Travel & Features Editor at FoodeMag dxb (Dubai's finest Food & Travel e-magazine) & also Editor at CoffeeCakesAndRunning my personal blog about food, travel & speciality coffee.

Often found behind a camera, I'm active on social media with a following of 30,000+ and was nominated as one of Dubai's top bloggers by The National newspaper and have been nominated for a number of top blogger awards in the region.

In a previous life I was HR Director for a large worldwide organisation covering mergers, acquisitions and large scale startups and closures.

My Passions

I'm passionate about food and travel (from street food to fine dining, from a hammock on the beach to a uber luxurious stay) and describe myself as 'an accidental blogger and passionate foodie'. I love adventure too !

On Coffee :

I love speciality coffee and am always on the hunt for specialty coffee, good quality beans, coffee shops & stories and coffee gadgets "you can never have too many gadgets or beans!"

On being fit & healthy

I have a love/hate relationship with the scales, the downside of loving food and travel, which I share on my website along with occasional glimpses into life here in Dubai and in general.

On Dubai

I've lived in Dubai for seven years, and want to spread the word far and wide that Dubai is more than just 5* VIP experiences, we have plenty of other options too - from no star to five star and beyond there's something for everyone of every budget to see and do in Dubai, message me and I can always give you some ideas.
