Deborah Ojengbede (Debbiestixx) – A Multifaceted Leader in Music, Finance, and Tech.

Born in Osun State, Nigeria, Deborah Ojengbede discovered her passion for drumming at the age of 10, starting in church and later going professional in 2013 as the official drummer for gospel rapper Bouqui. She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Babcock University, where she was deeply involved in music, serving as the official drummer for RCCG Potter’s Place Parish.

Over the years, her dedication and talent have made her a sought-after female drummer in Africa’s music scene. She has also worked with top artists, including Rudeboy (P-Square), Nikki Laoye, Tems, Frank Edwards, and Niyola, solidifying her reputation as a standout performer in an industry traditionally dominated by men. This duality of talent earned her the nickname “Banker by Day, Drummer by Night.”

Beyond music, Deborah has built an impressive career in Finance, Technology, and Entertainment Business. She began her corporate journey in 2016, as a Graduate Trainee in Banking, rising quickly through the ranks to become a key leader in strategic and transformational projects.

In 2021, not one to be confined by conventional boundaries, Deborah ventured into Blockchain Technology, recognizing its potential to drive economic change in Africa.

Today, Deborah remains a force to reckon with as she continues to carve out a unique space as a business development executive driving innovation in the creative and tech industries.
