Deborah Lim

Deborah Lim is a Singapore-born, California-raised, Toronto-based, Asian American theatre artist. Deb works primarily as a freelance stage manager and technician, but also continues to take on projects as a designer, director, and collective creator.

Deb has worked on several independent and professional dance, theatre, and concert productions in California, New York, and Toronto. Some of Deb's notable work includes directing the largest university dance festival in Canada and stage managing a multi-site specific production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Deb has been recognized with two awards in stage management for the work that went into Midsummer and an award for Best Director on Julius Caesar.

Deb is the producer for Glass Reflection Theatre Collective and a founding member of Blameworthy Theatre.

Deb is also a recent graduate from the University of Toronto, with an HBA in criminology, drama, and music history/culture.
