Asis Kumar Chakraborty

Asis Kumar Chakraborty is son of Late Narendra Chandra Chakraborty. He was born in Beniapukur, Kolkata and in the particular house where Michel Madhusudan Duatta also stayed for some years. He graduated inCivil Engineering from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, Howrah, West Bengal. During childhood he could realise pain of poor and sense of poverty. He is a disciple of Lokenath Baba and had constructed a Lokenath Temple in Silchar, Cachar, Assam. He is now settled in Silchar. He has written many articles on various issues. He has written two books namely Shata Pranam and Shahashra Pranam, containing 100 songs and 1000 songs on Lokenath Baba. Additionally, he has written a book named Kishalaya Katha containing 100 poems on childrens. From the books Shata Pranam and Shahashra Pranam he has sung few songs for which music has also been given by him. Every year he donates the money collected in the Lokenath temple to the poor childrens of a School in Silchar. He is fully devoted to Lokenath Baba.
