Deborah Byrd
Deborah Byrd is a digital media publisher who brings science and nature news and information to millions around the world. She blogs and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the popular science website EarthSky.org. Her EarthSky radio series ran from 1991 to 2013. Byrd has won a galaxy of awards from the broadcasting and science communities, including having an asteroid named 3505 Byrd in her honor. She believes in science as a force for good in the world and as a vital tool for the 21st century.
