Debbie Saunders

I am a management consultant, board advisor, venture partner and interim executive specialising in strategic marketing, branding and customer experience management. My focus is on helping businesses grow by tapping into opportunities to create stronger connectivity between their brands and customers. I am blessed to collaborate with some truly amazing people, as a fractional / interim CMO, an Advisory Board member to various companies, and a partner to consultancies and agencies in the digital, innovation, strategy, and brand development areas.

My career has included senior management and consultancy roles with small and large organisations, across a range of industries and markets. Having started in the consumer goods world as a brand manager for Procter & Gamble, I moved into strategy consulting and my portfolio has included businesses in Energy, FinTech, Communications and IoT, Consumer Electronics, Food & Beverage, Household Appliances, Industrial Goods, Retail e-Commerce, and B2B SaaS. I have a particular interest in working with scale-ups in health & wellness, fashion, and sustainability (circular economy).

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I am London based but divide my time between the United Kingdom and Northern California. Alongside my consultancy work, I am a guest lecturer in brand portfolio management at London Business School, a mentor to female small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, an investor/advisor with Alma Angels, and a venture partner. I am also completing a book on building remarkable brand experiences.

As a former ballet dancer and dance aficionado, when I am not with clients or enjoying the many things that London has to offer, I can usually be found in the ballet studio trying to perfect my pirouettes!
