Deborah Morrish is an internationally renowned adjudicator, former educator, volunteer, mother and humanitarian consultant. As a proponent of lifelong learning, she has earned a number of degrees and certifications, including HBA, BEd, BSc, as well as two Masters degrees. She has also earned the Management for Executives certificate from the Canada School of Public Service and a Diploma in Studies in French at La Sorbonne, Paris. She holds an Alternative Dispute Resolution Certification Parts 1 & 2 in Toronto, Ontario.

Deborah believes that making the world a better place takes continued education and consistent effort and has adopted that mindset her entire adult life.

She has been a career adjudicator for over 35 years, first as a Vice Chair of the Ontario Social Assistance Review Board, then as the Assistant Deputy Chair of the Immigration and refugee board and recently as a consultant to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in South Africa.

Deborah has dedicated most of her life advocating for those caught in the human struggle, as refugees, trying to obtain safety for themselves and their families.
