I was born and raised in Southern California into a family of four children and two incredible parents. My dad is a retired LAPD detective.

After college, I had a wonderful job at Warner Brothers Studios, but after the birth of my two sons, and helping my husband with his work, I shifted direction toward my longtime desire -- to become a therapist.

It began with teaching and music classes for infants and children. For over ten years I taught and tutored and grew increasingly present, in tune with the children's emotional states and curious about their stories. About who they wanted to be.

Along the way I lost many loved ones, some to addiction. My curiosity about where the pain comes from and how healing really happens, led me back to school and through years of training.

Today, as a therapist, I believe in the power of listening to people's narratives or stories, in giving strong direction to my clients, but letting them take me where they need to go, in a non-threatening way. I often find myself saying, "I'm here when you're ready to take the dive and at first we're going to do it together. Then you and I are going to work on getting you to do it on your own." I love helping people write their own narrative. Their own new story.

I am also Chief Financial Officer and Co-Director of Together Family Therapy, Inc. which is a small group of talented therapists working to help families transition from homelessness to independence. Come learn more about what we do at:
