Deborah Sampson

I'm a 40 something sahm to 4 wonderful (sometimes!) kids. I have 2 boys; ages 25 and 2, and two step-daughters; ages 9 and 10. I also have one grand-daughter, 6 cats and I think I have a dog, but she spends more time at a neighbours house than here at home.

After many years absent from the sewing world, I've decided to rekindle my love for fashion sewing. I also enjoy making bags, although my husband thinks you only need so many lol. My youngest son, was born 6 wks. premature and has been struggling with some speech issues, but like all his other milestones we have faith that he will overcome this set-back. He is otherwise a happy and healthy 2 yr old that is full of mischief and always makes you smile....well most of the time lol.

Addison, my second youngest (step-daughter) is much like her little brother - full of mischief! She has currently learned how to sew, and judging buy the amount of time she spends sewing I'd have to say she loves it! Her work can be viewed on my blog http://www.threadandthimbles.com.

Aurora, is my eldest step-daughter and doesn't share the same enthusiasm for sewing that Addie and I have. However she is interested in upcycling her wardrobe and she and I will be working on that together this summer. I look forward to seeing what designs she comes up with.

Lastly is my eldest son....unfortunately he moved back home last fall and well he won't leave!
