Debra Attenborough, Ph.D.

Director in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Debra has been working in art gallery and museum settings for over thirty-five years, first in art gallery education (Oakville Galleries, Rodman Hall Arts Centre, Niagara Falls Art Gallery) and then as an Executive Director (Niagara Falls Art Gallery/Niagara Children's Museum). Debra holds a Masters and a Ph.D. in Education from Brock University, and teaches both in higher education and elementary settings. Her teaching includes: studio art, art history, reflective practice in education, gender equity and social justice in education, curriculum development, innovative curriculum, and contemporary arts in curriculum.

In addition to her work in galleries and teaching, Debra is working on an Appraisal Studies degree, specializing in the apprasal of fine art.
