Debra is a versatile and accomplished, people-focused and operationally-oriented leader, business partner and executor with regional, corporate and international management experience in Human Resources Operations, Compliance and Administration.
Debra brings out the best in strategy, people and performance by integrating human resources with business strategy and consistently challenging the status quo. Her areas of expertise include organizational strategy, development and change, talent management, training, performance management, and employee relations.
A trusted and valued member of the executive team, most of Debra’s experience has been with medium to large companies with multi-state and international operations. Her career includes work for a broad range of business sectors, including manufacturing, publishing, technology, airline, and service industries.
Previously, Debra was Vice President of Human Resources for Incentive Logic, Inc., an end-to-end technology and services company recognized for its strategic application of incentives and rewards. She set the strategic direction for Human Resources and built an organization focused on attracting, developing, and retaining excellent people. Those results translated to reducing turnover to less than 1% and being recognized in the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies.
Debra is an adjunct professor sharing her passion and knowledge of human resources and business and regularly coaches and mentors individuals as they look to transition professional and personal aspirations.
Debra received her Bachelor of Science with a double major in Business and Accounting from Upper Iowa University—Madison extension and her MBA from University of Phoenix, Phoenix, Arizona. She has been SPHR certified since 1998.
