I'm passionate about being creative.

I create smart, compelling content for brands and offer content & communications consultation services. I've written about topics like freelancing, working remotely, sales, small business, entrepreneurship, women in business, startups, and even motherhood.

In fact, I began writing professionally when I realized my blog about being a sarcastic young mom was great material for a newspaper column.

Soon after I started finding success with pitching my column to newspapers, one of my articles was published in the Huffington Post. Shortly afterward, Arianna Huffington invited me to come on as a regular Huffington Post blogger!

I still blog for HuffPost, but my passion is helping real people--entrepreneurs, small and medium businesses, and nonprofit organizations--effectively and efficiently engage their audience through writing.

The words I write become representations of my clients' brands. They have to align with the brand's voice, mission, and audience. They should inspire action or drive an outcome. I like the weight of those tasks.
